News from Indian Hills Brangus

Indian Hills Genetics travel to Fort Worth and Houston as we begin 2017.  We would like to invite you to see our genetics at the Fort Worth Stock Show and the Houston Livestock Show.  We are excited about our bulls and heifers that will be sown at both shows.  If you plan to attend either or both, please look us up!
Last May, Sidney and I were fortunate to have the opportunity to attend the World Brangus Congress in South Africa.  We enjoyed seeing a country we had never experienced before and would encourage you to enjoy South Africa if you have the opportunity.  Cape Tows was breath taking and the Cape of Good Hope is a must see.  We enjoyed the Congress and the Speakers were great.  The social events and visits to ranches were very enjoyable.  It was really good to see friends from Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Mexico and South Africa!  This event really helps us look at the Global cattle market not just what is happening in the USA.  A special thanks and congratulations to the South African Brangus Association for a great job with the event and with the work they are doing!
IH Rudder News!
Rudder is doing us a really good job as we would like to invite you to come see his calves.  If you are in Fort Worth or Houston, you will see some of his calves that are being shown.  Another interesting fact is that we have some Red Brangus from Rudder.  We have now tested Rudder and he does carry the Red Gene.

Chief of Indian Hills Sons are Winners
on Two Continents

Chief of Indian Hills has had two sons that have been very successful in the Show Ring this year. Paul and Denise Studt of Australia have "Coolabah Apollo" who was the Junior Champion and Grand Champion Bangus Bull at the Brangus Feature Show at Clermont Australia. He was Junior Champion Interbreed bull at the Capella Show. Paul and Denise said that he is now 19 months old and weighs 830 Kg. or 1826 pounds.

IH Rudder 504Y2, also a Chief son, won Grand Champions Brangus bull at the San Antonio Livestock show and was just named Reserve Champion Bull at the Brangus National Futurity at West Monroe, Louisiana. Thanks to Paul and Denise for sharing with us their success and having confidence in Chief of Indian Hills to be a part of their Coolabah Brangus stud.
