News from Indian Hills Brangus

2018 has been a very busy year with cattle being shown at the Fort Worth Stock Show, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and we were involved in the World Brangus Congress in Houston.  The World Congress gave Sidney and I the opportunity to see many friends from other countries and make new friends. We have had several opportunities to hose friends from other countries at Indian Hills and these are particularly special times for us.

Indian Hills Genetics Sell in Uruguay

Indian Hills Ranch and Gabrial Riani and family have a partnership involving our genetics in Uruguay.  In October of 2017, we sold our first set of bulls and will have another offering in October 2018.  The first group was very well received and we are excited about the 2018 crop.

Indian Hills Genetics in Australia

We continue to see success with Indian Hills genetics in Australia.  Working with our customers Edward and Kara Guinn at Voewood Brangus.  They have had great success in feedlot trials having won the Highest Individual Weight Gain, Highest Group Weight Gain, Champion Trade Carcass, Champion All Round.  Congratulations Voewood and the Quinn family.

IH Rudder News!

IH Rudder 504Y2 was named Black Brangus Show
Bull of the Year for 2013-2014!

Rudder is doing us a really good job as we would like to invite you to come see his calves. If you are in Fort Worth or Houston, you will see some of his calves that are being shown. Another interesting fact is that we have some Red Brangus from Rudder. We have now tested Rudder and he does carry the Red Gene.

Think he got used to the daily shower!

Chief of Indian Hills Sons are Winners
on Two Continents

Chief of Indian Hills has had two sons that have been very successful in the Show Ring this year. Paul and Denise Studt of Australia have "Coolabah Apollo" who was the Junior Champion and Grand Champion Bangus Bull at the Brangus Feature Show at Clermont Australia. He was Junior Champion Interbreed bull at the Capella Show. Paul and Denise said that he is now 19 months old and weighs 830 Kg. or 1826 pounds.

IH Rudder 504Y2, also a Chief son, won Grand Champions Brangus bull at the San Antonio Livestock show and was just named Reserve Champion Bull at the Brangus National Futurity at West Monroe, Louisiana. Thanks to Paul and Denise for sharing with us their success and having confidence in Chief of Indian Hills to be a part of their Coolabah Brangus stud.
